Breitling’s ultimate all-purpose sports watch is ready for anything. The Chronomat holds apivotal place in the brand’s modern history. Introduced for Breitling’s centennial in 1984,at a time when quartz movements dominated, it marked a bold return to mechanicallydriven watches. It was born from a collaboration with the beloved Italian aerobaticsquadron, the Frecce Tricolori. When the team asked for an analogue timepiece that couldwithstand the intensity of a jet cockpit and still look stylish enough to be worn to formalevents, Breitling developed the “Chronograph Frecce Tricolori.” It was the blueprint forthe Chronomat to follow one year later.The Chronomat Automatic 36 is made to suit a wide range of wrists. It’s powered by theCOSC-certified Breitling Calibre 10, a Sellita-based automatic movement with a 42-hourpower reserve and a 6 o’clock date. The model features various dial colours and executionswith natural mother-of-pearl dials, and both stainless steel or gem-set bezels. It comeswith the quintessential fully-integrated Rouleaux bracelet, which features microadjustments on both sides of the clasp.
